Itzchak Rapoport

Born in 1901 in Berditchev, Ukraine, and in
1914 made Aliya with his parents. During 1916-1918 studied in the
school "Alliance" in Alexandria, and then in Gimnasia Herzlia
in Tel-Aviv. During 1922-24 studied architecture in the High Technical
Institution in Berlin, Germany, and during 1924-26 studied in Paris,
France. After graduation, traveled for two years in different countries
to accomplish his study. In 1928 returned to Israel and worked for
the Mandate Regime with Architect Richard Kaufmann. In 1932 opened
his own firm. |
