Who (Blacks). In the video-performance "Who", I shared a double, glamorous dress with my sister. We marched back and forth on the stage at the kibbutz auditorium, presenting and being presented, appearing and disappearing, challenged by the need to move together and in close proximity, in an elusive zone of power and vulnerability. The double dress gave life to one of the computer sketches from the "Blacks" series, which included four house-garment types and hundreds of variations. They occupied space, delimited and protected the possible body of the girl, the woman, the twins, the grenade. It wasn’t the first time my sister and I have been stitched together. When I was a student, we shared a double circus-tent dress — a home in a nomadic world where the body is put on display and boundaries are blurred.
