Names (2005) I sat on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, at twilight, wearing a huge red gown, aiming to draw the attention of the passers-by. The gown was held to the ground by stones, defining a certain distance and personal space. When people came to look, I asked them for their names. Using a device that prints on stickers, I turned names into tags, and then took my bare leg out of the dress and attached the new name beside the ones I had already put there. I was surprised time and again by the level of cooperation.
