Gold & Straw (2004) A three days long investigation of the essence of Sisyphean labor. I sat at the center of a giant stack of straw, and painted it, piece after piece, with glue and gold shiny flecks. Despite the plainly secular nature of the action and the materials, the results where enchanting. Apparently, people need golden brilliant things – and so do I.
