Cocoon (1998) An action performed in " Nature", in a desolate public park, without audience. For two hours I wrapped myself in red wool, attempting to achieve maximal wrapping. When my movement became restricted, I asked the photographers for assistance. I experienced the speed in which a naked body becomes covered up, the difficulty in complete wrapping, as well as a state of withdrawing internally that paralleled the process of wrapping the body. I went on until I felt dizzy and anxious. I did not want to unwind the woolen thread in the same manner. I just wanted to get rid of this stress as fast as possible.
