Dotting (2006-2007) I dotted my figure with black, round office stickers. They were pulled out from under my dress, moving from one place to another without leaving a trace, possibly representing a disease, a fashion statement, or an abstract painting. My searching hand movements - removing, sticking on and taking off the stickers - mapped the body, exposing and clothing it in front of the audience. When I performed this action indoors, I left the stickers behind on the wall. I repeated it after a while outdoors, at a public space. I marked the borders of my body, almost out of habit. Under the surface I felt a change is coming.
